Take that...
i finally went to home depot to get the supplies to fix asher's crate.
he had been hard at work trying to figure out how he thought we should redecorate.
i had my own ideas.
first we see the door - missing its bottom left hand corner (yes he crawls through that opening)

here we have the inside of his crate - i think it looks comfortable?

this is the base of the door panel - some metal that i was able to buy, with some cardboard inbetween to make it a little bigger (that could be the weak spot...we'll see)

The metal cardboard contraption was then covered with duct tape and i used cable ties to attach it to the crate -- the ties are really good bc he cant really get his teeth around it. i used two of those - one vertical one horizontal. they are tied together with some rope (that's michael's influence...had to get some) and then that is covered with the duct tape again.

used more ties, and 3 5 foot chains.
they are connected with screw caribeaners and have to be moved on and off each time.
the bottom lock, which he had ruined, is now a double sided clip.

ill get a pic of him in it eventually....he was happily chewing a bone - and who am i to interupt a good chew!?
